We wanted to create something refillable, offering an alternative to the plastic and laminated paper options commonly found in the market. Many of these conventional materials are at risk of containing harmful substances like PFAS. Containers fused with plastics are particularly susceptible. As a small company, we have made numerous sacrifices to ensure the safety of our formulas. We produce our products in small batches to maintain strict control and minimize the risk of PFAS contamination in our packaging.
The Journey of Our Zinc Alloy Compacts
Our new compact is an experiment born out of passion and a commitment to sustainability. As a team of two, we were unable to conduct extensive tests on how many thousands of times you can open and close it. However, we invested significant time in background research, reaching out to companies with similar products to learn from their experiences. We also secured certifications for safety and recyclability. We know that this compact is recyclable in larger urban areas or can be dropped off at any PACT depot. Despite its small size, it packs a punch, weighing much more than you would expect!

Our zinc alloy compact is refillable. Simply push a pin through the bottom label, and out pops the tin. We love how she looks, how she feels, and the fact that she holds lip and cheek products safe for expectant and nursing moms. These products are made with natural ingredients, including organic oils and butters, mushrooms, and natural, organic cherry flavor, all tested PFAS Non-Detect <10 ppm.
